i played kassandra in odyssey, she looked way cooler than alexios imo (also heard her voice acting was better). for valhalla i think i’ll probably play the male eivor to start with because i think his character looks cooler, but maybe i’ll swap between the two. tbh it makes no difference to the actual gameplay so i don’t really care
The key difference between Odyssey’s and Valhalla’s approach is that in Odyssey, Alexios and Kassandra are two different characters; both exist within the world, and the character you don’t
In Odyssey, Kassandra (look, she's the canon protagonist so we're using her name--we don't care if you played as Alexios) discovers she's the daughter of Pythagoras, an Isu.
5 PANKRATION. via PC GamesN. Assassin's Creed Odyssey Hides Adorable Nintendo Easter Egg. This was pretty much obvious the moment the champion died—Kassandra/Alexios is asked to compete in the games! Though there isn’t an opportunity to do a bunch of these, this was still pretty neat.
As far as I know, it's the same lines and story. However, from what I've heard, Kassandra has better voice acting, and seems to be the character meant to be played. Alexios as deimos felt more natural as well in my opinion. Definetly, he has the right look for the character. Wanted to avoid spoilers if possible though.
Kassandra first. Going off only what we have seen from E3 gameplay Alexios' voice is a bit cheesy and forced sounding. Much of the dialogue seems cheesy to begin with so it may not be the voice actors fault. Kassandra might not be very historically accurate but they seem to be leaning away from that anyways.
What the Main Difference Is Between Alexios and Kassandra. The main difference is that the character models are different when you get flashback cutscenes of the characters’ pasts. But other
However the roles completely reverse, if you pick Kassandra then Alexios is Deimos and spoken about in the same way by other cultists. Most lines in the game remain the same too, just switching out gender pronouns and their names.
Alexios and neema are much better off than Kassandra and natakas. Just imagining the natakas in place of neema in most scenes seem absurd. Even his expressions and dialogs all seem out of place. I liked alexios and neema until the 3rd episode.
I played as Alexios and my wife Kassandra. Ironically my wife now says she likes Alexios better but I think Kassandra has the MUCH better voice acting. But thats all it boils down to to be honest, the voice acting for Kassandra is less grating and sounds more natural than Alexios. Thats basically it.
The difference between Alexios and Kassandra is simply their sex (and that could change your opinions on the available romances) but it’s truly up to the player. There’s no difference in the story, just what you take from it playing as Kassandra or Alexios, though if I were to pick, I would recommend Kassandra!

From a gameplay point of view, there are no differences between Alexios and Kassandra. They have the same skills, the same DPS potential, the same run speed, everything. So don’t feel as if you’re going to be penalised for choosing one over the other. They can also wear the same armour and outfits. Does Alexios become an assassin?
Answers. There aren't any major difference aside from the character you don't pick is used for something else in the story. However there are some dialogues that are different if you are a Kassandra because she is a women. Some dialogue actually adresses her gender and her occupations and actions. Spoiler alert!!
Grab your Copy on Amazon: Yeah, lol, thats true. The game very much downplays the sexism in Ancient Greek culture. Basically, Kassandra is treated the same as Alexios. Her gender is not much of an issue. Which is a reasonable stylistic decision, although it is completely ahistoric. I don't recall there being any reaction to her being a woman. She just LEAVES KASSANDRA’S BODY ON THE FLOOR TO GET BACK IN THE ANIMUS. I literally cannot believe how tone deaf this was. It’s like the game knew logically the death was sad (because hey it’s death), but didn’t really realize the context for it. Kassandra had the most tragic life and death of any of the Assassins.

I think a good approach is to play Kassandra as your Stealth/Archer character and they replay with Alex as a melee monster. I chose Kassandra and I'm really enjoying her voice acting so far. From what I've heard, (could be wrong), Alexios is more emotional sounding whereas Kassandra is a little calmer is demeanor. The real answer as to why there's alexios and kassandra dna on it. Some real life people got pissed off they were forced to play only a male or female character. And then they still got pissed off when only 1 was the actual canon intended character and the other a by-product of entitled snowflakes.
Unlike some RPG characters, the game’s protagonists (either Alexios or Kassandra; I played Alexios in the demo) didn’t feel like blank slates upon which I enforced my player’s will. Alexios
